The plastic tabs of the OEM thermostat are prone to breaking, causing the thermostat to fail closed, which can result in engine overheating and significant damage. Our 6061-T6 aluminum housing completely removes those tabs, significantly reducing the risk of thermostat failure. Additionally, aluminum can naturally withstand high temperature heat cycles for longer periods than plastic, making our thermostat more durable and reliable.
